Here we can see Dr. Dan and his patient, both looking at the same images at the
same time. Dr. Dan is discussing the images he just created, and with his
computer mouse, he is pointing out a possible problem. The pointer moves
simultaneously on both screens. So here we see how the computer has now become
the true record-keeper for dental images. The advantages are many: no more
chemicals, no more small slides to keep track of, easier method of communication
with the patient, easier access to records for the staff, and ability to back
the data up for save-keeping.
